Hey everyone! I’m Abigail Rosa, but you can call me Abby. I’m 22 years old and currently based in Germany, where I’m pursuing my studies and my love for travel. Launching this blog has been on my mind for some time now. Growing up in a family that’s always on the move, I’ve had the privilege of visiting and exploring around 35 countries in my life. It’s high time I begin sharing my travel tales and insights with you all!

I was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, and I couldn’t imagine a better place to grow up. For the first 18 years of my life, I was surrounded by the beauty of Big Sky Country, which will always hold a special place in my heart. My childhood was filled with adventures that only Bozeman could offer: hiking through breathtaking trails, skiing on pristine slopes, floating down the picturesque Madison River, picking wild huckleberries, backpacking, and camping under the stars. These were just some of the countless activities that made my upbringing truly magical. Bozeman provided the perfect backdrop for a childhood full of exploration, joy, and a deep connection to nature.
Ever since my dad tied skates onto my 6-year-old feet and handed me a stick, I haven’t been able to stay off the ice!
Volleyball is a fantastic way to meet new people without needing any equipment. Whether at the beach or in the gym, it’s always been an enjoyment for me!
My family is very competitive, and what better way to show it than through races? Whether it’s triathlons, Spartan races, or 10Ks in the mountains, the competition is always on!

I’ve been living in Germany since August 2022, after being undecided about what to study in the US. Fresh out of high school, you could say I had no clear plan in sight. After attending language schools in various cities and towns for a total of seven months around Germany, I decided to continue and pursue my higher education here. Now, after a couple of years of prerequisites, I’m thrilled to be going for my bachelor degree in international business!
Who knows where I’ll end up, but I’m loving every moment here and can’t wait for the next chapter of my journey.
Living in Germany has opened up incredible opportunities for me to explore Europe. With so many neighboring countries just a short trip away, I can easily and inexpensively travel during breaks between studying and school. Whether it’s a quick weekend getaway to Budapest or a longer holiday adventure in Iceland, the accessibility of diverse cultures and landscapes right at my doorstep is truly a traveler’s dream. Being in Europe has not only made it more convenient to venture into these nearby countries but has also enriched my experiences with the unique charm each destination offers.

Even though I am halfway across the world, my family supports me in everything I do. After all, it was my parents who inspired my love for travel in the first place, so there was no surprise when I chose to study in a different country. Whether it’s sharing my latest travel stories or offering advice, they are an integral part of my adventures, even from thousands of miles away!

While I often embark on my journeys solo, the thrill of adventure and the beauty of life keep me going. I invite you to join me on my travels, share in my discoveries, and perhaps find some inspiration for your own adventures. If you have any questions or would like to reach out, feel free to contact me!
